Integralist: Somebody who, regardless of their internal structure, understands and has heard about and can talk in the terms of this theoretical model
Integralite: somebody who sees the things and experiences the things which this model is talking about, whether they've heard about it or not
Which parts of Green do we want to integrate? Integral is about integrating and transcending. Green is radically relativistic, so it is allergic to anything that reintroduces hierarchy. Integral introduces the idea of hierarchy regarding developmental levels, so there's gonna be a tension there. If all hierarchy is removed, narcism and relativism is the result. Paradox: Integral seems like it should be inoculated against some of the pathologies of the culture, but the same conversations and divisions can be seen to play out in the integral community itself. Green values should not be purely rejected, we can hold the values of that worldview without falling prey to some of the ideological traps.
People in the Integral community include many different people
The stages are stylistic rather than content-based. A lot of people who profess the ideas of Green are not really there. They're moral, aesthetic, emotional, which doesn't match up with the words they're using. Anybody at any level can use any tool. Monkeys cant build a bomb but they can set one off. Concepts created at Green can be used by any Stage.
Theres a strong incentive to separate oneself from Green, and to objectify it and maybe belittle it to move on. This Green culture still exists and is still evolving. People who speak in Green terms are not necessarily that stage of development. Many are mostly at Orange and Blue.
We can speak in terms of Spiral Dynamics, and use the language, and not really inhabit the sensibility that birthed them.
Some people may seem Green but are actually Orange.
There is a necessity to distance oneself from Green via critique Green in order to transcend it, but Green may not be fully digested.
Green forgets and does away with traditional values.

Green should incorporate some Blue.
We must have the spirit of conservative, rural, agrarian.
Highly cognitive integral can be avoidance.
Shadow of the left may be the integration of anger and masculinity.
The shadow is the place in which things are going on. Development os primarily subconscious, and is inhibited by certain patterns and shadows, like things that are being left out, things that it needs, things that it sees backwards. We must be able to work in the area in the part of ourselves that were not recognising- in order to actually do it instead of just talking about it.
Two strong ways in which people imagine they're at Tier 2 when they're not
Using the words about Tier 2 that they heard
They've had some personal experiences that seem to require trans-rational, trans-personal higher level explanations
The test is not what they're talking abut or went through, but how they're talking abut it, and how they're being with each other.
Very important to shift from the content to the style. Someone can yell at you that they absolutely had a mystic experience., what should pay attention to why they are yelling, not whether they had the experience or not. What level are they coming from in the way they've chosen to express themselves, whether its about an experience or the terminology. By their fruits ye shall know them. Easy to profess, not as easy to embody.
Diluted water, each drop of water is a drop of community. No drops of water would be way too strong- sickly sweet. Too much water would make the drink too weak.
