I have been in conversation with people who have been under the influence of wrath many times and being patient is always a strong weapon.
I have been in 3-way conversation with a man and an attractive woman, and have exercised the virtue of patience in the face of the man's wrath to win the woman's favour. It’s an example of how patience can be strong: if a guy is impatient he looks weird and weak in the above scenario, and looks as if he thinks you’re better than him. That’s because patience is better than impatience.
Patience is not being a doormat, in fact those who let people walk all over them are usually not composed. I’d recommend thinking of patience as very strong.
Sometimes wrath leads a person to be predictably, and patience leads a person to act unpredictably. Just like in chess.
In this case of a 3-way conversation between two men and a woman they both like, patience wins, because wrath is seen as weakness. Wrath is usually caused by hurt pride, which is a sign of excessive pride.
Combined with humility, patience can be truly deadly for the person who wants to get something. Humility allows men to make people laugh, while others have hurt pride, wallowing also in wrath and envy.
When we can’t be rattled, we have rivals trying to rattle us, who are seen as envious would-be saboteurs by onlookers. This makes the audience respect us more than the would-be saboteur, leading to his loss.
As you think more about this over the coming days, specific insights about how patience can benefit your life will appear.
I’ve made an online program about how to increase your patience here: https://www.inspirationparadise.org/challenge-page/the-patience-program
